From the moment I walked into the box, there were many members starting and finishing their work out. Within minutes I had already completed five transactions for members who were purchasing single serving supplement packets for their post workout nutrition. Saturdays are certainly one of the busiest days during the week. I had given 3 tours out our facility to people who were interested in checkin us out because they wanted to give it a try. Sure enough, they were instantly hooked after they tried our free trial class. Shortly after 2 out of the three visitors I gave a tour to signed up and became new members of CrossFit GSP. As the storm settled down Val wanted me to reach out to any potential member who found us through Groupon. These individuals purchased a Groupon at the end of last year and as a whole Val and I thought it would be a good idea to reach out to them and to touch base in regards to their CrossFit experience. For some reason, Val mentioned that not many of the Groupon individuals have replied back in the past, but was feeling optimistic about it this time around. A reason for this is maybe because the rate from the groupon to the actual membership is a big jump and many may not be willing to commit. Something that should be thought of next time around, would certainly hate to lose potential members because our price is to high. Another mini task that I was put in charge of was making a sign for the 1 year Birthday Party that was going to be held in a few weeks. These signs were printed and posted in the men and women's locker rooms and around the gym so all members were aware of the event. This will be a good time for all members to come together and socialize outside of their workout clothes.
